Detroit, MI based guitarist, songwriter, producer Darrin James and his team Disaster Relief are back with their second full length album ‘Back Into It’. Just like their self-titled debut album (‘Disaster Relief’) released in 2018, the present album ‘Back Into It’ too is funky, joyful and timeless. The band has expanded their horizon to include more influences and flavors from around the world.
The new album combines old school funk with wah-wah guitars to create an upbeat, horn-driven music. Inspired by the likes of Galactic, Antibalas, Budos Band and the Meters, ‘Back Into It’ spreads positive vibes and keeps the Greek wedding party going with danceable grooves.
