After successful release of the lead single and title track “This Place”, versatile Electronic Jazz Fusion artist Aman Jagwani is back with “Now”, the second single from his upcoming album ‘This Place’. The song features the work of eminent vocalist Anubha Kaul, popular Indian pianist Ron Cha and Boston-based guitarist Pritesh Walia. Mixing and mastering is done respectively by Dishaan Gidwani and Ayan De, while lyrics, composition and drums are by the master himself, Aman Jagwani.

The song explores deep philosophical concepts about time. It personifies an ideal version of ‘now’. It conveys an inspiring message that if things are not going well in your life, you should search for that version of reality (your present time), in which you want to be. The song has several same melodies with different harmony placed one after the other. This is to indicate the feeling of there being an alternate version of that musical section, analogous to an alternate version of your present time.
“Now” is a progressive and constantly evolving song. Each section offers a unique way to feel the different grooves within the overall vibe of the song. It fills you with excitement and gives you a feeling of freshness and joy. Anubha Kaul’s vocals are incredible and the guitar solo by Pritesh Walia is extraordinary. This stylish fusion of genres with lush vocal textures and contemporary sophisticated arrangements is sure to keep you engaged irrespective of your specific musical preferences.
